Aloe Vera Plant
Aloe Vera is a hardy, succulent plant known for its healing properties and easy maintenance. With its thick, fleshy leaves filled with a soothing gel, it is not only a perfect indoor companion but also a great natural remedy for burns, skin irritation, and more. Aloe Vera is also an excellent air-purifying plant, making it a beautiful and beneficial addition to any home or office.
Plant Care Tips:
- Light: Aloe Vera loves bright, indirect sunlight. Place it near a sunny window, but avoid direct afternoon sun as it can scorch the leaves.
- Watering: Water your Aloe Vera deeply but infrequently. Let the soil dry out completely between waterings. Typically, once every 2-3 weeks is ideal.
- Soil: Use well-draining, sandy soil, or a cactus mix to prevent waterlogging, which can lead to root rot.
- Temperature: Keep Aloe Vera in temperatures between 13°C to 27°C (55°F to 80°F). It prefers warmer conditions and doesn’t tolerate cold or frost.
- Fertilizing: Fertilize once in spring and again in summer with a diluted, balanced houseplant fertilizer.
- Repotting: Repot your Aloe Vera plant every 1-2 years to refresh the soil and give it room to grow.
